It's not my favorite...but the one that creeps me out the most: Alfred Hitchcocks, The Birds. I can't see a bunch of those black birds gathered together today without getting the willies!

I just love Aliens, it's so visceral and gross. Stan Winston's monsters are the BEST

Hmmm ... favorite horror movie? Just one? Why must you be so mean? I must give apt credit to all horror movies that are my favs! Then again, we'll probably be here a while. I think Apt Pupil is one of my favorites. As a kid Poltergeist freaked me out. There was another one that I can't think of the name but it had a cat in a tree, and the babysitter was pushed into the closet and ripped apart. *taps finger against chin* What WAS that movie?!

The Grudge (original Japanese version) is probably the creepiest film I ever saw.

Only enter me if the giveaway is international. If not, no worries.

I really, really love the old Vincent Price movies... Or even better, radio programs. Heck, I can't tell you how freaked out I was when listening to 'Wrong Number', while driving alone late at night.

It's hard to pick a favorite horror movie... the old stand-by is "The Shining," but there are a lot of overlooked ones that are enjoyable.

Hi Liz and Happy Halloween! I have two scary movies that tie for #1 in my opinion: "John Carpenter's The Thing" and "The Shining". :)

I want those bloody hand window clingy things! We have the clingy splats in the bathroom but I couldn't find the hands... :)

No?
Okay. Then I think it's a toss-up between the original "Halloween" and the first "Nightmare on Elm Street".
Oh! But wait, "Salem's Lot" was creepy... Man! Tough question!

Hello, Liz. I would love to win those cool prizes, but I must tell you first of all that the best prize of all would be that t-shirt that says, "Life isn't always flowers and sausages." That was hilarious! Loved that!!
Okay, "The Exorcist" is the badest film on the block. I watch it once every couple of years or so. I don't watch that many horror films, but recently saw "Let Me In" and thought it was brilliant.

Saw you on Coffin Hopping and had to pop in and see what you've been up to lately. I have an interview with Ellen Datlow on my blog this week. Check it out, if you haven't already.

My favorite horror movie ... Wow ... There are good ones already posted. Top three would be The Shining, The Exorcist, and Jeepers Creepers, but there are many, many more.

I think Raingirl has the right idea -- but I can't help but wonder if I could get them to adhere to the *hood* of my car. :)

Favorite horror movie? "The Haunting." "Hellraiser" is a sentimental close second, but "The Haunting" is definitely the one that scared me the most.
