Good morning friends.
I have been an avid reader my entire life. I consume books and become fully vested in them. But I have never written a review for any book. I have recommended books to friends and verbally told people about books, but until I became a writer it never occurred to me to review anything. My thoughts were always, who wants my opinion? Why is my opinion any more valid than anyone else's? People should just read the book and decide for themselves. But now I understand the other side of this.
Other readers like to see what other people thought. They see it as a recommendation or a warning (depending on how the review falls). But also authors love to read reviews of their work (I am excluding myself from this. I want my book to have reviews, but it makes me too nervous to read them).
So next time you read a book consider dropping a review, a lot of people would thank you for it.

I'll only do a review if I have something nice to say. I'll be honest if the book didn't meet my expectations but if it left me utterly bitter, I tend to leave it alone. Everyone is different after all:)
I only talk about books that I would recommend. I think its important to have reviews out there especially for first time authors. I have found a lot of great authors/books through reviews that I may not have otherwise.
I was very pleased to find this web-site. I wanted to thanks for your time for this wonderful read!! I definitely enjoying every little bit of it and I have you bookmarked to check out new stuff you blog post.
